Abstract
Objective: Global market volatility, sustainability pressures, and rapid technological disruption require supply chains to become simultaneously efficient, responsive, resilient, and environmentally responsible. This study aims to develop a comprehensive conceptual framework that integrates the Smart, Lean, Agile, Resilient, Sustainable, and Green (SLARSG) paradigms under the governance of Agile Project Management (APM) to enhance multi-dimensional supply chain performance.
Methods: This research adopts a conceptual synthesis approach based on systematic literature analysis and comparative gap evaluation. A multi-tier supply chain architecture (supplier–manufacturer–distributor–customer) is designed, positioning APM as an integrative governance layer. The framework incorporates Industry 4.0 technologies—such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), digital twins, cloud systems, and blockchain—to enable iterative coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and real-time decision-making.
Results: The proposed framework demonstrates how the coordinated integration of SLARSG paradigms through agile governance can enhance operational flexibility, resilience capability, environmental performance, and sustainability alignment across supply chain tiers. The model outlines a sensitivity-analysis structure to evaluate the impact of cost, time, disruption, and environmental parameters on overall system performance.
Conclusion: The Smart SLARSG–APM framework provides a holistic and technology-enabled roadmap for building adaptive and sustainable supply chains. By embedding agile governance and digital intelligence into supply chain design, organizations can strengthen transparency, responsiveness, and long-term resilience while balancing economic, environmental, and social objectives. The framework establishes a foundation for future empirical validation through simulation, case studies, and multi-objective optimization.
